This course will allow you to strengthen your existing artistic skills for progression to further study or employment.
Course description
You will have opportunities to refine a broad range of art and design skills in 2D and 3D areas, with a thorough grounding in research, analysis and concept development using a range of media and techniques. You will also develop an awareness of the historical, contextual and social issues relevant to art and design practice.

A list of materials will be sent to you before the start of the course.
Entry requirements
- One Higher in Art & Design and one National 5 pass in English, plus recent examples of art or design work that demonstrate an appropriate skill level
Or
- Completion of a relevant SCQF Level 6 course – Art & Design Portfolio Building
- For those returning to education, life skills and experience may allow entry.
